Engaging Audiences Through Music Dissemination
My dissemination activities are designed to inspire curiosity, foster dialogue, and promote lifelong engagement with music. By connecting with schools, community groups, and the general public, O hope to encourage appreciation for both the art and science of musical performance. Here some recent dissemination activities:
- New Horizons in Piano Performance Research – Department of Musicology (uio.no), University of Oslo, September 2024. Talk on piano performance research followed by a piano-duo research concert with live capturing of pianists’ physiology, motion and MIDI of the piano performance.
- Musical Research Workshop – RITMO Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Rhythm, Time and Motion (uio.no), Popsenteret, Oslo, April 2024. Overview of the different methods to track musicians’ physiology during music events. This workshop was intended for kids.
